This update focuses on improving reliability, performance, and ease of use across several key areas of the system, including approvals, reporting, document previewing, uploads, and general day-to-day workflows. These changes continue our ongoing work to make theDMSeffect more efficient and dependable for teams managing drawings and document-controlled information.

What’s improved in v4.3.2.2

More reliable approval workflows

We’ve improved approval rollback and deletion handling so documents removed from the approval queue are now processed correctly, with associated files managed as expected. This helps ensure approval workflows remain accurate and dependable.

Reporting improvements

Reporting pages now correctly apply filters such as site, category, date range, and other criteria. Pagination and CSV exports have also been restored, making reporting more reliable and easier to use when working with larger result sets.

Better large-format document previews

Previewing large drawings such as A0 and A1 formats now works more effectively, with documents scaling properly to fit within the preview panel. This makes large-format files easier to review on screen.

Faster uploads for large file batches

Upload performance has been improved significantly, particularly when working with larger batches of files. This helps reduce delays and improves responsiveness during bulk upload tasks.

Better workflow safeguards

The system now prevents user accounts from being deactivated, or their permissions reduced, while documents are still awaiting their approval or check. This helps ensure important tasks are not left without an assigned user.

Better reporting usability

Reports now include pagination controls and page size selection, making it easier to navigate large volumes of data.

Improved upload form behaviour

This release also includes a range of smaller usability refinements across the system, including:

• tables scrolling to the top when changing pages

• filter dropdowns responding more consistently
