Improvements to the DMS

Version 4.4.4 of theDMSeffect focused on reliability, cleaner dashboard behaviour, and smoother day-to-day document handling.

This release continued our work on making the system more predictable for users who are uploading, reviewing, filtering, and approving documents every day.

Uploads and document handling

Upload fields and document headers now behave more consistently when adding files. PDF and ZIP uploads also handle file extensions more reliably, including when extensions use capital letters.
These refinements help reduce small interruptions during document upload and administration, especially when working with files from different sources.

Dashboard and interface refinements

Dashboard filters, searches, table layouts, action buttons, and document labels have been refined for a more consistent experience across different screen sizes.
We have also improved how original/native file availability is shown, making it clearer when users are working with source files as well as PDF versions.

Approval workflow improvements

Approval previews now open in the expected place from the approval cart, making review workflows smoother.
Approval and checking emails also include clearer context, helping reviewers understand what requires attention before they open the system.

Continuing to improve theDMSeffect

Version 4.4.4 is a practical refinement release. It improves reliability across common workflows and removes small points of friction from everyday use.
